"No boat should put to sea without it"
Syntho-Glass® is a woven fibreglass cloth which is impregnated with a resin which is activated by water - salt or fresh. Corrosion is the single largest problem that companies operating in the offshore environment face. The damage to pipelines and metal works is often extensive. Apart from the costs related to depressurizing, shutdowns and replacement are both costly and at times impossible. By using Syntho-Glass® you can decrease your replacement and maintenance costs dramatically.
Pipelines that are in jeopardy of a catastrophic failure due to wall thickness degradation due to external and/or internal corrosion, are especially suited for a Syntho-Glass® repair. Based on the client specifications, this fibreglass composite sleeve can be fabricated in the field, on an oil platform and even under water.
Syntho-Glass® is also extremely useful for unexpected or emergency repairs while at sea. For this reason, all US Coast Guard cutters and US Navy vessels are required to carry stocks of Syntho-Glass.

| Port Rigmar
Port Rigmar is the only jack-up type accommodation unit accepted and capable of working on the Norwegian continental shelf. This unit has a total bed capacity of 326. Port Rigmar was converted from drilling mode to accommodation mode in 1991 and has since then only worked in the North Sea.
In July 2006 we supplied Syntho-Glass® for repair of a huge cooling-water pipe that had sprung leak. The pipe is in constant contact with seawater, and the repair was done in 30 minutes without shutdown.
